Barak’s journey is intertwined with the strength and resilience of his family. A half-orphan, his father’s passing in 2014 marked a pivotal moment in his life. His mother, a housewife turned vegetable vendor, embraced the challenges of providing for her family. Despite health obstacles, she persevered, and her determination has become a source of inspiration for Barak’s own journey.

In 2020, he became a beneficiary of the organization’s scholarship, propelling him from high school to his current academic pursuits. Barak’s academic pursuits are rooted in a passion for Public Health—a field that holds the key to holistic wellness and community well-being. His pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Public Health at Chuka University is a reflection of his commitment to addressing health disparities, advocating for change and ensuring the health and wellness of entire communities. His dream is to become a Public Health officer—a role that allows him to contribute significantly to community well-being. From health education and policy advocacy to disease prevention and community empowerment, Barak envisions a future where he can make a lasting impact.
